ROSENBERG & CO
Rosenberg & Co., on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, continues the Rosenberg family’s distinguished tradition of exhibiting both Modern and Contemporary art. The Rosenberg family has been one of the most prominent tastemakers in the history of Modern art. In the twentieth century, Marianne Rosenberg’s grandfather, Paul Rosenberg, represented many of the most renowned Modern masters, including Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Fernand Léger, and Georges Braque. His son, Marianne Rosenberg's father, Alexandre P. Rosenberg, continued the gallery, and in 1962 became the founding President of the Art Dealers Association of America. Rosenberg & Co. exhibits an international roster of works by prominent Impressionist and Modern artists including Joseph Csáky, Albert Gleizes, Jean Lurçat, and Henry Moore. It also represents several contemporary artists and estates, including Brendan Stuart Burns, Maureen Chatfield, and the estates of Beatrice Mandelman, Louis Ribak, and Fred Stein. Rosenberg & Co. renews a focus on the highest standards of connoisseurship and expertise that have been cultivated over generations by the family.
