Aboriginal Art of Australia
Parisian gallery located in the heart of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, Aborigène Galerie opened in 2016 and is exclusively dedicated to Australian Aboriginal art. It was created and is directed by Nicolas Andrin, international expert for 20 years, curator and signatory of the Australian ethical charter "The Indinegious Art Code". Throughout his regular travels to Australia since 1999, Nicolas Andrin has forged close relationships with Aboriginal communities and major artists whose works are presented in the main public and private collections: the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Quai Branly Museum (Paris), Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection (Charlottesville, USA) ... He has participated in numerous films and books on Aboriginal art and culture. He is co-author of the bilingual French-English reference book "Thali, Art contemporain aborigene / Contemporary aboriginal art" (published by Somogy, 2012).
