Galerie G. SARTI

14th to 18th century Italian paintings, important furniture and works of art.

Founded in London 45 years ago, the gallery relocated to Paris in 1996, in the elegant premises of an “hotel particulier” close to the Champ-Élysées, where are presented 14th to 18th century (mostly Italian) paintings, with some important furniture and work of art. The gallery has two rare and special fields of focus: Early Italian paintings (14th and 15th centuries), a period for which we are the only dealers qualified by the Conseil National des Experts Spécialisés (C.N.E.S.), and marble and pietra dura objects. Exhibitions are regularly held in the gallery, accompanied by bilingual scholarly catalogues, notably on 14th and 15th-century Italian paintings, but also on other subjects like 18th-century views of Venice and capricci (1725-1835), Sumptuous hardstone and marble pieces or Italian Caravaggesque painters. This year, in the exhibition Sound and colour, each painting was associated to a piece of music according to its period and its subject.
