In order to ensure the safety of the visitors, La Biennale applies the preventive measures decided by the government. All visitors must undergo security checks.
Suitcases and large bags are forbidden and control devices are placed at each entrance.
Items larger than A3 size or 55cm x 35cm x 20cm are not allowed inside the Grand Palais Éphémère.

Prohibited items

• weapons and ammunition of any category;
• tools, in particular cutters, screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, pliers and pruners;
• any blunt object (defense sticks, baseball bats);
• excessively heavy, bulky or smelly objects;
• explosive, flammable or volatile substances;
• aerosol generators (stains, paints and lacquers) containing substances that can damage;
• works of art, buildings and/or security equipment;
• generators of incapacitating or neutralizing products, electric weapons for the neutralization of persons;
• works of art or antiques;
• animals, with exception of guide dogs for blind persons or assistance dogs accompanying people with motor or mental disabilities.

Sanitary Pass required for access to La Biennale.
All persons and teenagers between the ages of 12 years and 2 months and 17 years must present a sanitary pass to access the event.
The young minors must have the QR code showing full vaccination, a negative test less than 72 hours old, or a Covid-19 recovery certificate at least 11 days old and less than 6 months old.
